They’ve been in FL for about an hour anna half - they should hit Ocala within the hour.
SIL has gone to fetch Roxy from his mom’s house. Cozmo horked on the rug. I’m knitting and watching Mansfield Park on Prime. Such is my life.
At the self check out at Kroger today. The damn thing talks. “Welcome, valued customer!” “Please put your BROCCOLI in the bag.” “Remove all purchased items.”
I was thinking that I would like to hack it.
“Oh, God, not HIM again!”
“Put you SHIT in the bag, already!”
“Take the shit you paid for, and get the hell out of our store, ass hole!”
That would certainly make for an interesting shopping experience.
Other than two loads of laundry, I have not done a thing today.
I am tried, bored, and cranky - should have taken a nap.
It feels weird to not be irking, even though irk has been irksome and I needed a day off.
I also need to get caught up on some stuff around here, but I needed a day off from that too,
My cooking today was especially good. Then a long nap was had. Now considering an early bedtime in hopes of an early morning. Back to irk tomorrow. My stamina is low so I may not make it all day. Thus endeth the week from hell.
Howdy Y’all! We deheathenated, I managed ush duty without major mishap, we had N.O.L., accomplished nappage, and just chilled the afternoon away. I did take the biiiiiiiiiiiiig trash can all the way down to the road for pickup tomorrow. Did the same with neighbor’s trash can since she’s out of town for several days. I’m nice like that.
Butters glad you feel better. Really, though, don’t over do it. If’n you don’t feel like irkin’ all day tomorrow then don’t.
Catch y’all in the shiny new MMP tomorrow!
Our garage actually could have been a “mother-in-law” house; we have the plans. It was 1914 in an area becoming slightly better working class neighbors and several were built around the same time on the same plan between then and 1920. It is also tough because its on an alley with the people in the houses facing that alley having nothing but street parking. Which means basically turning into a too-small parking space from what amounts to a single lane. Trust me – it ain’t easy. But outside of the Sube nothing has been this close to impossible. I got to the point where I could swing in a Hudson basically on the fly and the Saturn SW half asleep. But in the little use we’ve made of the garage before now I totally broke a folded mirror and the OW damaged one.
If -------- we basically replace one wall and everything above the walls, which may be how we go, my plan is one large door basically two car sized. An alley with shelves on each side for the car in the middle and “parking bays” along each wall for the bikes. That would be IDEAL! The question becomes at my age, the age of the Outback, and all that -------- is a $20grand garage something I want? Need – sure do. But I’ve lived without it and -------- you know how that goes.
