Now is as good a time as any, so I shall officially annoucnce our departure from New York.
My time in the service of the US Army is now up, due to my disability, and we have already seen to our having a place near our families and friends in PA. With any luck, I will have ajob forthwith and she shortly thereafter.
Our schedule has been insane lately, so you have not seen us around, but we have been thinking about you.
Though some mighgt say we have joined the Philly croud, we are actually going to be the same distance away from the City proper as we were earlier, so we should be able to make certainn dinners (ahem - Andy).
I’d like to take a briefe moment to thank all the great folks who were around to suoport us in the area, including Cajun Man and DrMatrix though they now be far off, Dave and Not-Dave & family - whom we hope we hope to continue to have good times with, TP, who we should see soon, and a great many others, all of whom no longer live in the city but whom we see are great friends and can’t wait to see again (Art/Steph wedding-ehem )
Nevertheless, we are still around and y’all are still in our minds and hearts, so don’t think us out of the loop.
Glad to hear that the slow grind of the Army paperwork mill has finally spit out your discharge. Good luck with the move to PA and the job hunt. Hope you and A_V can make to New York at some point soon.
Zoltarb says he’s gonna grab on to your leg and not let you go. And then he said “Pennsylvania? That’s not far enough away!”
I think you need to move to Iowa and work in the corn fields. You and your towheaded family.
PS. I know you’re leaving me because I can’t drink beer anymore. Bastard!
Hectic weekend. The missus is leaving with the last little bit of stuff this evening and me and the dog’ll be here alone in a empty house until I’m finished with all the lousy paperwork.
Y’all in the city will still be pretty close and we’ll now be a lot closer to Philly, so maybe we can double-dip with the Fests!
Oh, Biggirl, I know you’ll miss us beer or not.
