Sunday is Pi Day, I think I’m going to make a blueberry pie. My SO wants to eat it right at March 14 at 1:59:26 p.m., but I’ve been thinking it’s better to have pie for lunch and have seconds just before 2 o’clock. What say you, Dopers?
Blueberry (one of my favorites) sounds just fine. I think I may get some for myself. Time of day doesn’t matter to me.
I’m holding out for Mole Day, which celebrates Avogadro’s Number. It is celebrated officially at either 6:02 am or 6:02 pm on October 23 every year.
For the most part, I intend to ignore it, although if I happen to find out about anyone on campus giving out free pies or some such thing, well, damn, who doesn’t love pie?
I’ll be making apple pie, but if I have leftover crust, I’m going to throw in some frozen blueberries, a tiny bit of cinnamon and nutmeg, and some lemon. Mmm, blueberry.
Fruit? In a pie? What is this Communist nonsense???
I’ll probably have cake on pi day, but that’s because it’s my birthday!
I think I’ll make chicken pot pie.
I will be making pizza. Completely homemade.
My bridal shower is on Sunday - when the hostess (my sister-in-law-to-be) asked what sort of dessert I wanted, I told her it had to be pie, since it’s on 3/14. And the best part is, she knew exactly what I was talking about. 
There need to be more pie occasions.

The wiki page suggested an alternate Pi Day: July 22. So there’s at least one more day for easily-excused pie.
I was thinking of re-watching the pie fight scene in The Great Race.
Pi is key to the geometry of curved lines so I will be making key line pie.
Eating pie. I’m a traditionalist.
I’m thinking quiche for lunch, which is after all just egg pie. Then apple pie for dessert that night.
