Grape vs. Strawberry Jelly

::nodnodnod::

Summertime means jam time. Lots of blackberry, strawberry, and raspberry-rhubarb jam comes out of my kitchen. Good stuff, man.

Uh… I just eat both right out of the jar.

I’m not picky. Since I rarely have peanut butter or some kind of preserve in my kitchen, whatever I can find is ok by me.

Raspberry first and then strawberry. I would put blackberry first, but I can never find blackberry when I’m shopping for jam/preserves, so it gets left off for inconvenience.

I know this has no place here but I must…
It’s Peanut butter and honey for me.

Grape and Strawberry are both good; I use which ever is easier to find in the fridge. Has to be regular peanut butter though, not crunchy.

I like strawberry, raspbery, and blackberry.

Anything grape is bad. Especially jelly, jam, etc.

A PBJ must have grape jelly. Grape jelly is also a must on a McD’s Sausage McMuffin with Egg.

Keebler Townhouse crackers spread with cream cheese and strawberry jelly is a heavenly treat.

Crunchy peanut butter is just disgusting.

People, people… FIRST make sure you have the right bread. For PB&J, you cannot use real, grown-up style bread; you MUST have fresh, soft, squishy, thin crust white bread.

Less critical, but still very important, you need SMOOTH peanut butter. OPer SirSyko is in the right camp here. Preferably one with a high sugar content and without too much air whipped in.

The choice of jelly or preserves is actually the LEAST important decision. But, FWIW, my picks would be 1) strawberry, 2) grape, and 3) Hi, Apple!
