Sweet! Thanks for this.
I eat a cup of Chobani pretty much every morning. I am yet to find another breakfast that is as good at keeping me full until lunch. At this point, the sugar and even the taste is besides the point. It’s easy to buy, I can throw it in my bag and eat it at my desk, and it will keep me from having to go buy a bagel or whatever.
I switch up the flavors, but my favorite is the black cherry.
I prefer the Dannon Light & Fit 80 calorie Greek Yogurt. http://www.lightandfit.com/home
Some of the other Greek yogurts can be twice that many calories.
Strangely enough, I just started snacking on Greek yoghurt. I bought a large tub 0f plain yoghurt to keep in the fridge at work, and I’ve been cutting up bananas and strawberries and adding them to a small bowl of yoghurt this week. It is missing some crunch though. I may need to add some cereal or nuts or something.
I agree a crunch would be nice. I got some granola from the grocery store this week. I’m going to try adding that into plain greek yogurt with the berries and see how it goes.
I like the pre-blended Chobani rather than the fruit-on-bottom kind. It only comes in a larger container size, though. 15 ounces, I think? I got some in chocolate, pineapple, and strawberry. Yet to try the pineapple but, based on the positive reviews, I’m glad I picked it up! I might start going the plain route, just so I can add my own fruit and granola.
It is for me. I usually eat greek yogurt for breakfast, but skyr is less sour and has a creamier texture. I always grab a couble of cups of Siggi’s Skyr at the store for mornings when I’m pressed for time and need a quick and easy high protein breakfast. It’s more expensive than greek yogurt, but it’s about twice the protein of regular yogurt, 0% fat, and still cheaper than an Egg McMuffin.
