UDD is doing great. We’re separated but still good friends. I moved to Atlanta and I’m dating a medical student that I met at a juggling convention. Dominic is 10 now if you can imagine. He just started Concerta for ADHD and is responding well. He lives with me. I own my own house now, a cute 2 story 3br/2.5ba with a yard and a garage and a basement and all of that. Oh, and it’s always clean 
I’m going back to school to get my graphic design degree… so I’m a student at KSU now. It’s pretty weird. Oh, and I’m blonde now. I haven’t been updating my site at all lately because I haven’t had time, and a lot of it is broken. Likewise my journal isn’t always updated, but it’s the closest I’ve got: LJ
It’s so exciting that you’re having a baby!!! It’s truly the most amazing thing ever. I remember being pregnant and every few days I’d get this sort of epiphany “oh my god, I’m going to be a MOM! I really GET it now! it really HIT me for real!” and then a few days later the same thing… I only thought I had “gotten” it before, but now I REALLY got it… and then again, and again… and even after all that it still doesn’t REALLY hit you until you’re holding that baby in your arms…
…and then the next day again, and the next day, and the next year… haha ok it never stops. Heh.

…annnnnd you’ve lost quite a bit of weight. You look awesome overall–bot just becasue of the hair or the weight, but everything. You look, I dunno, happier?
Sorry to hear you and UDD separated, but glad to know you two are getting along well. My sisters has her share of ex’s, and “getting along well” is not a part of any sentence associated with them.
I can’t believe Dominic (I knew his name started with a D) is 10! Holy crap. I remember his toddler phase very well!
I also remember he sucked the calcium out of your teeth and left you in root canal hell. :eek: I’m a little nervous about that, especially since my dentist of 15+ years suddenly retired. Check this out–he’s Amanda Bynes’ (you know, sugary Nickelodeon actress now in that cheesy-looking flick She’s The Man) father. He retired early so he and her mother could travel with Amanda to her filming locations. Niiiiice. He’s a wonderful dentist, too, dammit. And very funny and candid–he recently warned me (before I was preggo, but considering it), “Don’t let your children get involved in show business.”
Anyway, with his absence (and no dentist I trust nearby) and baby sucking my nutrients, I’m paranoid of facing the root canals you went through. But you know, somehow I think labor will be worse than the root canals. 
“OMG I’m going to be a MOM!” has started to hit me, but right now it just freaks me out in a “Holy CRAP what am I doing??” kind of way. But DL is fantastically supportive and I’m not too concerned…just a little wigged out occasionally.
Hi Opal! I miss you so much. When I move back to the DC area (hopefully by July) we must get together. Either when you come up to visit, or I will come visit you!

Since you’ve been away, there’s this new rule - when you come back, you’re supposed to bring snacks for everyone else. Preferably chocolate. No, really - I wouldn’t lie about something like that!

Since I moved from the DC area to Atlanta, and she moved from the DC area to California, we don’t get to go out dancing every Saturday like we used to
Thanks for the welcome back, Gorgon Heap! And yes, it is great seeing all these familiar “faces.” And Hamadryad…weird that I actually was brought to the mind of anyone around here. You made me feel all warm and fuzzy and stuff.
Johnny–or whoever is “in the know”–I kind of skimmed over this yesterday but now am processing this. Padeye passed away? What happened? Last I was around, we’d just lost poopah chalupah in just the strangest and saddest accident. I think of him often when we drive over freeway overpasses.
Hmmm. Just how long have to been out of touch? I didn’t hear about Padeye, but you know we lost Persephone as well, right?
Noooooo! I didn’t know about that. Pretty much the only deaths I’ve known about are poopah and of course, Wally. :wally Dude, Wally ruled. I still miss him.
