There didn’t seem to be much progress with the characters on this epidoe, with the possible exception of George and Callie heading for Splitsville.
And is Katherine Heigl filming a movie or something? The last couple of weeks she just shows up in one or two easily filmed locations, without a lot of lines to read.
I did like the last sccene where the doctors were all checking into the same hotel at the same time. Maybe we could have a spin-off series for that place.
I figured out the kid’s illness immediately (having seen the same thing on the Discovery Channel not too long ago).
I predict Meredith is going to be boyfriendless very soon. Also, is anyone getting the vibe that Chris O’Donnell is going to turn into a Not-So-Nice guy sometime in the future? He’s just too perfect to be true.
What the heck is the timeline in this show? It’s been like 8 or 9 days since the Prom. George said that Callie had been living with them for a week. Then Burke tells Christina that he’s only been in PT for 3 weeks. Huh?
I loved the dick measuring between McDreamy and McFirstBase.
Meridith, how could you get felt up yet? You had a lunch date in the hospital cafeteria and a dinner date (I presume at a restaurant). Where are the feel-up possibilities.
I loved Alex in this episode. I see so much chemistry between him and Izzie.
George’s joke about Batman and Robin didn’t get past me.
George was rambling on about superheros when they were looking for the little girl, and said something like “What about Batman? He works hard to get where is is, and then Robin just shows up at the Batcave and says 'I’m living here now.”’"
He was comparing himself and Callie and their new living arrangement to that of Batman and Robin (he being Batman.)
You know what? I called George being a comic book fan three weeks ago, when I started watching the show with my friend. I asked her if he had referred to comics in any way, she said he hadn’t, and I said “Just you wait.” He’s a total fanboy.
Of course, it helps that one of the show’s writers (although I didn’t see his name in the credits last night) is Allan Heinberg, who has written Young Avengers, JLA, and currently Wonder Woman.
