It -is- a long time to January, and hopefully they will be back in early January. I do miss my Grimm fix too!
I am very aggravated, though, about the situation with Renard and Juliette. I seem to recall that when Monroe and the herb lady (sorry, can’t recall her name right now!) were trying to cure her, that she wasn’t completely certain that the cure would work, since she did not know exactly how the curse/spell was conjured (although she did know the ingredients). I think that even though Renard’s kiss worked with the cure that Monroe and the lady gave Juliette, there was still a part of the spell that was meant to continue working on Juliette and Renard. I hope that makes sense! In other words, I think she’s going to eventually remember everything, that it will all come to her at once, and be due to something shocking. Gah. She is still under that spell, to some extent - as is the Captain! The previews have me very scared, though.
I don’t think they ever said they were coming back in January. It’s been planned to return in March all along. It is a long mid-season break, though.
Anyway, *Grimm *actually had decent ratings for a Friday night show. I think NBC had to be pleased with its performance, and NBC doesn’t have a lot of solid shows.
They started early because of the Olympics, so presumably this won’t happen every year. I’m sure they were really rushed over the summer so they probably appreciated the down time.
I’ve seen several people say this. When I watched it I saw this promo that says “in the new year.” (Doesn’t say January anywhere.) I wonder if there was a different one that other people saw, or if they’re just remembering wrong.
I’d swear that the one I saw in November was prefaced with a message that said “All new episodes of Grimm beginning January 11th 2013” and I’ve found enough articles from November on the net with that exact date to think it might not have been my imagination.
Some one spoil the ‘Austria’ moment at the end for me please! IT WILL TAKE TOO LONG FOR IT TO SHOW UP ON DEMAND!!!
and - why the hell do they call it on demand anyway? stuff I want is not there when I want it - it seems to only be there when they want it - so, isnt it more like “on when we want you to have it” ?
I dunno, I’m having a hard time getting oriented – I’ve forgotten a fair amount over the last three months.
What was the deal with Juliet and the captain fighting in the house? I get the passionate attraction part, but what was causing her to shoot the gun (but not at him)? And whose gun was that? And was he “no-no-ing” also? Too murky.
Cool that Nick and the captain might end up on the same side, though – clearly they’re setting up plenty of story for a third season, should there be one.
And loved the “cameo” by the owl in the otherwise Wesen-free ep.
