Forget the dragon lady for a moment, what about the alleged Reaper that beheaded the Grimm in Germany? I can never get enough Monroe. I never thought that Juliette was anything but human. It’s kinda boring this way, but if she was a creature, it would have been cliché. I like your thinking about breaking with tradition.
I thought Once Upon A Time was clearly the better show early, but Grimm has improved. I’m still watching both shows.
I thought this was one of the best *Grimm *episodes yet. The dragon people were actually kind of neat, as far as murderous were-creatures go. The daughter dragon made a good villain–I hope we see her again. I like Juliette so I hope they aren’t going to kill her off or have her leave Nick.
Looks like we’ll see the Hexenbiest lawyer woman again in the next episode.
Well, reapers kill grimms. It’s what they do. Although, seeing as how there are reapers in Portland who haven’t tried to kill Nick, I’m betting they’re part of the organization the captain wants Nick to join.
Maybe the reaper that killed the German grimm is what the queen bee was trying to warn Nick about.
By the way, I think that’s a bad pun, grimm reaper. And I usually like bad puns.
Thank you.
Nothing wrong with Once Upon a Time, but it just couldn’t sustain my interest.
I really loved that last episode. That young dragon lady, Dameonfuhrer or whatever they call them, enters the story at the right time.
She is just like Cat Woman, the whole kind of bad, but kind of good thing, and the love interest with the hero. I love Cat Woman, and she is a good copy. Part of me really wants to see the main character get with her. His girl friend, although hot herself, has just been boring, whiny, and always complains. They should either give her a 3D character, or just drop her.
Does anyone know who played the dragon lady? She was really hot.
I’m watching both, too, and I like both of them. They are obviously pretty different shows in terms of tone and scope (and budget) so I think comparisons must be made with that in mind. I do think OUAT does a better job of mixing in episodic stories along with the overall mythology and the serial storylines involving the
Queen, Snow, Charming, Rumpelstiltskin, Emma, and Henry. I hope *Grimm *starts showing us more episodes that deal with the backstory of the Grimms and the wesen.
Both shows have characters who are not the title characters but are, by far, the most interesting characters on their respective shows, in Monroe and Rumpelstiltskin/Mr. Gold.
I didn’t like the Hitler thing from the episode before last. My first thought was “Wow. A show has been godwinized and jumped the shark at the same exact time!” Well, neither was true, but it made me snicker. But, really it sort of encapsulates a small problem I have with the show. Every villain is a creature. No regular human is ever shown to be evil. Monster of the week is a problem with these type of shows, and this is literally what this show has been. I think I would prefer to have some episodes that focus on Grimm’s overreaching story ark, and less on whatever monster he is chasing. On top of that, let’s see some regular scumbag human beings to mix things up.
On a good note. I thought the last couple of episodes were very good (aside from the Hitler bit.) They introduced a couple of characters who seem to have a possibility for an interesting return. (I like the Cat Woman comparison. Rings true to me.) And, as always, Munroe has been awesome. And, the lead actor has grown on me as the episodes have gone on.
I didn’t like the girlfriend being so put off by the Grimm not returning home in time for dinner. It didn’t seem like it made sense in the context of living with a (tv) cop boyfriend. So, I think they did a much better job of explaining her aggravation with the kidnapping this episode. I don’t think she can control being pissed off about being kidnapped by hot chicks.
-Nah If I wanna see human criminals I will watch junk like CSI. This is more of a science fiction show, let’s see some science fiction stuff.
-Yeah that Hitler thing was really weird. On one hand it was very chilling to watch it, but on the other it was really weird. It seems like they could have handled that better. It was supposed to come off as really dramatic, but it just came off as weird.
They’re on hiatus right now, then coming back with a three-episode arc on March 30, then one more week off, and then should be a straight run till the end.
