Well, I for one don’t have a problem with a prolific poster also being one that’s worth reading.
(course, I have over 4000 in a little over 13 months).
But, point remains quality is always appreciated.
Hmmm…I don’t know…I guess I just have a lot of time on my hands right now…and even when I don’t, I do have a lot of access to computers-school and my internship…

Guin, I hate to say it, butif My math is serving me correctly, you are right on par with Handy’s pace.
The comparison to handy is a little unfair. At least her posts make sense, or actually contribute something to the thread.

Crafter Man–According to my calculations that’s about 12 posts per day. Assuming she has fast internet, 12 posts a day really isn’t all that much. I read this thread, did the calculations, and typed this post in just a minute or two.

I’m currently going faster even than handy (though part of his count is just that he’s been here a year longer than either Guin or I). Several months ago I was going at around 20 posts a day. I’ve done more than 50 in one day more than once, too.
Given the average length of his/her(?) posts. Guinastasia is actually posting more words overall then Handy, assuming y’all’s math is correct.
Congrats, I guess. 
Not only that, but the words are put to better use.
Quality counts, not quantity.

Hey, I’m just about on par with Guin. 6500 posts in 19 months? That’s close to 12 posts per day. And I’ve matched Punny in terms of rate… I, too, recall pulling 50-post days. I also recall pulling 0-post days, so I guess I’ve earned the record of the most inconsistent post rate.
Crafter, I guess the question is . . . what’s your point?
Though I don’t want to do a search for my own posts (talk about crashing the boards . . . ), I’d wager I’ve done 50 or more a day in the following threads:
“The Last Word”, by BornDodgy; “Congratulations, Sapphire Bullet” by myself (a sort of sequel).
There have got to be more, but those are the two I especially remember.
As for 0-post days . . . yeah, I’ve had several of those. Can’t very well post when I don’t even have net access, affer all . . .

Ok, let’s try this:
Everybody get up, open the shades, look outside. See, it’s not so scary.
Now put on some pants - I know you’re not wearing pants. And look in the mirror - I know THAT’S scary, but don’t worry, we forgive you.
Now go open the door. This is done by turning the doorknob. It’s easy, I promise.
Now go outside. There are in the world (despite the recent horrors) plenty of places to go and talk to people. Coffeeshops, bars, other public places. Don’t try talking to anyone right away - you’ll surely scare them off. Just listen and observe how humans interact. You’ll pick up on it soon enough. Then try speaking. It’s really easy. Don’t wiggle your fingers or instinctly take your pants off. Just relax and talk.

I’ve been here over a year, am on the board every day, and have under 125 posts. I feel like I know everyone, but just haven’t had the cajones to speak as much as I like. Is there somewhere I can register as a professional lurker?
