I don’t really care how long an actual search for Guin’s posts on other fora takes. Making the search at all is an indicator of idle hands being the devil’s playthings. And I for one don’t think the OP is an internet addict; I think he’s an asshole.

It’s usually down to poor maintenance, in my experience. For heaven’s sake, people, clean and dry your trollops before you put them away!
Making posts on an internet message board which are not directly related to actual productiveness in one’s life speaks of idle hands. Casually scanning one’s Amazon Gold Box - from which one does not intend to buy - speaks of idle hands. Taking time out to call someone you’ve never even met an asshole - speaks of idle hands.
We’re ALL here because we have too much time on our poor little idle hands. “You have too much time on your hands” is kind of a GIVEN when you’re talking to people on a recreational site, for chrissakes. Weak argument.
But trollops have that disturbing tendency to stay damp. Or at least moist.
You have to keep trollops moist or they’ll dry out and get all nasty and have this repulsive dead-fish smell. Trollops are good in garlic butter, but I like them breaded and fried.

Do I make sure they’re clean and dry before I store them, or should I keep them in oil? CHRIST, you people are no fucking help at all.
You shouldn’t be storing your trollops at all. Ideally, you go downtown, pick out some particularly appealing trollops, bring them home and enjoy them right away.

The mere fact that she has 25K posts on this site may raise some eyebrows, but I (at 15K) know how easy it is to rack up posts in some threads that turn into virtually real time discussions. Start a chat, you say? Fuck off. If a quasi conversation started on a message board thread, then there it stays. IMHO, YMMV, BS,FO (but seriously, fuck off). Look at some of the latest Pit threads, with 5 or so people having 30 or 40 posts. Or a semi serious discussion of certain types of entertainment in Cafe. Sometimes a MB subject opens up a free-for-all of postings. It just happens.
The OP didn’t happen to mention any other high post count Dopers, did he? No Liberal, tracer, Scylla, me, or any others? Huh. Must just have a hard on for Guin.
Quite frankly, I just don’t see the obsession manny peoples have with post counts. It doesn’t make one better, doesn’t make one less of a person (either way). All it is is a count of the number of posts one has made. I stil say we should get rid of the damn thing if keeps causing problems (post count padding, handy type misleadings, this OP, etc…)
This tread is going nowhere, but I do have to add my two cents.
I tend to agree with the OP. Yes, it’s none of my business what people do with their own lives, but dang, Guin, you do post quite a bit. Can any of you who came to her defense deny that you’re just a tad curious as to what else she has time for?
As for the suggestion that the OP should’ve emailed her instead of pitting her: I think that would’ve been even worse. I mean, how creepy would that be? Some random guy I never heard of emailing me and telling me I have a problem and need to quit the Internet? Given the choice, I’d rather be pitted than emailed for something like that.
Look, you all overreacted, and you know it. The OP didn’t slander Guinastasia; on the contrary, he actually said some nice things to her. Let’s stop being the Mighty Defenders of Everyone’s Feelings and get real.
