I just put a pinecone in my pocket.
I went shopping for new clothes with some women friends I worked with (getting divorced, wardrobe outdated, high school reunion approaching) and we came across Mambo. That was about three years ago, and I use it exclusively now. I get lots of compliments about how good I smell when wearing it.
I regularly change my perfumes. The only one I have got a feedback for, so far, has been Fa for Men, which had a slightly spicy smell to it. My sis liked it, and so did my 10 year old neice. My own fav, though has been Nivea. Nice, understated smell.
I personally wear Cool Water. I love it, but its a tad spendy. I use to never wear cologne unitl my sister bought me a bottle of it. I’ve have gotten quite a few compliments from women and that sure does boost the ego a bit.
A good trick I learned is to walk into the comsmetic department at the department store of your choice and ask the lady behind the counter what she personally likes. Obviously pick the cologne that you can tolerate. This did back fire on me once, when I bought a cologne that a lady suggested and it smelled like Blueberry Muffins. Made me intensely hungry all day long. Will try to dig up the name of it.
Apparently a Sephora is going to open in the Eaton Centre in Toronto this fall. May be time to explore…
Wow, jfortun, you are so knowledgeable. I’m quite impressed. That coffee bean thing has made me wonder for years but I never thought to just ask someone.
