Like RickJay, another straight guy checking in here.
I, too, was surprised that Robert Redford had gone so long in the thread without mention. Even I can tell when he turns on that smile. He gets my vote, sometime between Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and The Natural.
Actor Tom Sizemore is one of the most gorgeous guys I’ve ever seen. He was in that movie with Danny Glover, Flight of the Inruder. He’s an asshole though. He beat his girlfriend up a few times.
Also, Headline New anchor Thomas Roberts is a very handsome man. I think I’m the only person who thinks so though.
I can’t believe nobody has mentioned him…
I present the incomparable Jeremy Irons. That voice, those tortured eyes, that languid air… good god.
Also:
~Christopher Walken
~Hugh Grant
~Jonathan Rhys-Meyers
~Sean Biggerstaff (Oliver Wood, the Quidditch Captain from the Harry Potter movies)
~Julian Sands (before he got all tore up looking)
~Leslie Howard
~Alan Rickman
Granuaile, I was thinking Jeremy Irons until I actually typed my post earlier in this thread. Why did I forget him??? He’s incredibly attractive and has this dignified look to him that is just oh so sexy.
I’d also like to add my votes to Hugh Grant and Robert Redford.
Uh, like, – KEANU REEVES – anyone? Hubba hubba! Maybe I’m blind but I missed anyone mentioning this Point Blank/Matrix hunk who radiates perfect mind/body control, AND doesn’t appear to have an ego the size of Alaska to match his success.
I also nominate:
Sam Neill [if you haven’t seen him in ENIGMA, you haven’t seen him]
Leigh Lawson [handsome beyond handsome, married to Twiggy now, played Bernardo in Brother Son Sister Moon]
Cary Grant [favorite movie–Bringing Up Baby with Kathryn Hepburn]
Greg Peck (as everyone else has mentioned, goes without saying – with a voice as attractive as his face)
So many men, so little time. To continue with the poker theme, my full house(or bed) would be:
Tom Selleck(Quigley Down Under anybody? Mel Gibson(Beyond Thunderdome Denzel Washington(Much Ado About Nothing, his smiles, those teeth! Paul Newman(The Sting) Bill Pullman(Independence Day)
Harrison Ford, Charlton Heston, Gregory Peck, Sam Elliot, and James Farentino would all be the second hand I had tucked up my sleeve.
Granuaile, what do you mean about Julian Sands (before he got all tore up looking? Was he in a fight? Has he aged badly? I haven’t seen him in awhile, but I remember how handsome he’s been.
I’m an Aussie, so I might be biased - Hugh Jackmanand [Guy Pearce[?URL].
On the other hand, I cannot see the attraction in Heath Ledger, Russell Crowe (ugh!) and Sam Neill??!!
One actor who took my breath away (and that hasn’t happened for a long time) was [URL=http://http://www.efanguide.com/~hayden/gallery/laah/laah26.jpg]Hayden Christiansen](http://www.guypearceonline.net/home.htm) in Life as a House.

On the other hand, I cannot see the attraction in Mel Gibson (well, may be when he was younger, but I don’t thunk he has aged well), Heath Ledger, Russell Crowe (ugh!) and Sam Neill??!!

Grrrr - sorry for the double post and the stuffed up coding, but my reply refused to load (my excuse for the double post). Perhaps my hormones got stirred up too much when I went off looking for pics to accompany the actor’s names. As a non-avid movie-goer, I cannot put a face to the names in many of the earlier posts so thought I would circumvent that problem for anyone who reads mine and cannot remember what they looked like (my excuse for the coding errors).
