A few months ago, it was noted that November 19, 1999 (11/19/1999) was going to be the last date in over 1000 years with all odd-digits (4-digit year format).
Well, today, 2/2/2000, is the first all-even-digit date since 12/30/888.
Wrong thinking is punished, right thinking is just as swiftly rewarded. You’ll find it an effective combination.
It’s also nicely symmetric, 2.2.2000
of course so was 1.1.1999 but it won’t happen again soon. Coming soon to a calendar near you: 2.22.2000 the last date with only 2 digits for quite some time.
My favorite was 12:34.56 7/8/90
although 1:23.45 6/7/89 was cool too.
The date/time I’m really looking forward to is (in 24 hr notation) 22:22:22 on 2/22/2222. (Hopefully they will unfreeze my head in time for the big event).
