fire horse-- already knew that, but was curious abt. descriptions: one thing we horse people always remember from our chinese restaurant placemats is that we’re good-looking-- i found this “fact” lacking in the description link-- must have been an oversight (sigh). i’m also familiar with a legend that horse daughters were considered unlucky marriage partners (leading to a man’s untimely death), so their parents would lie about these daughters’ birth dates. some traditional couples to this day plan pregnancy to avoid birth during the horse years.
