(BlueSky is a Twitter/X alternative. I don’t really know what it offers that’s better than the alternative, but it’s not associated with Musk, so that’s gotta be an improvement.)

This reminds me of when you needed an invite for gmail. We had a thread here for people with extras to invite other dopers.
