I’d have to disagree about QED. I think he was a person who could be pretty abrasive at times and didn’t suffer fools gladly. At a personal level, I had not a great deal of interaction with him, but he was always amusing- depending on what end of the conversation you were on.
I always thought his actions were pretty well on a par while he was here.
Kind of lends a whole new interpretation to the phrase, “apple cobbler”. 
I always wondered what was really going on with jarbabyj and her relentless spewing of obscenities. Some of the combinations were hilarious. That didn’t mean there wasn’t some honest illness there.
I think there are people going insane on the “crack” thread. I was.
“Witnessed?” I don’t think so. But I had one fuck of a psychotic break-out since I’ve been a member (or maybe was still a guest), so there’s at least one of us currently who may fit the bill.
Ah yes. Describing some guy as “as hot as liquid fuck” still stands as one of my all time favorite similies!
Christ, nobody ever said I was “hot as liquid fuck”, not even…never mind.
I am wondering what’s up with all his superstition threads.
QED, even on a personal level, did not seem crazy, any crazier than most people on here. Smart, acerbic, bitter and impatient with fools,yes. Helpful and kind on occasion, yes. Crazy, no.
I’ve thought about if there was any indicators, and perhaps in retrospect there were, but nothing jumped out at the time. I’ve never asked what actually happened, so all this commentary is speculation and innuendo. Could have died from an allergic reaction to parrot dander for all know. Or peanuts.
He was quintessential 'Dope, and I wish he was still around.
