There was a guy who believed that the one and only (literally the ONLY, no matter how many testimonies were offered) way to sexually satisfy a woman was to “power-suck” her nipples. I kind of want to say that it was JDT, as a side-note to his circumcision obsession, but I’m probably wrong.

But then again the first girl I ever kissed had just eaten an apple Jolly Rancher, so I have some particular associations in that regard…

Or rant about how Coke and Pepsi are the same thing. But it is really doing a number on my mental health, is the relevance. Pile on all the other recent major life changes, and it means that I want to finish soon, but am starting to wonder if doing the “dropped out with 1 credit left” thing is a good option.
But of course it’s a self-selecting group. You’ve gotta be a little crazy to think academia was a good idea.

B/Dav’s Law: It’s perfectly okay to have crazy thoughts & ideas, as long as you don’t tell the entire world about them. To paraphrase Forrest Gump: “Crazy is as crazy does.”
Hate to bring this up, as I was a fan of his, but one poster was acting a bit… unstable before he died, IMO. Very argumentative and short-fused.

Reading JohnClay’s threads is one of my favorite StraightDope activities. They’re an amazing mixture of humorous, interesting, and frightening.
There was a poster here (who was mentioned up thread) who, on her own message board, had a tantrum, carved a message in her forearm with a gem razor, took a photo of it, uploaded it, and posted it to her message board. I got tangentially involved when poster A, who personally knew the poster and her husband, asked me for poster B’s phone number, because poster B had hubby’s cell phone number and poster A didn’t have it at work.
He was the first person I thought of when I saw the thread title. Clearly somebody struggling with demons. The second I thought of has also been mentioned but I dare not mention her without a third reference. Very sad in both cases, when they were lucid I liked them very much.
There was the woman who thought she was the illegitimate daughter of JFK. I think she was just another one-post wonder, though. Everybody (well, maybe I shouldn’t say everybody) basically bullied her away. Although I can’t remember how, I somehow figured out who she was and went to her Facebook page. I noticed somebody from this board had done the same thing and had befriended her.
I know what they say about “the crazy,” but I had a bit of a crush on TechChick.
