That big noise you heard was a huge WOOSH going right over my head. My husband screwed up our TV this morning and we’ve now spent more than 12 hours trying to make things right/get them back to normal. He’s a total luddite and I’m kinda stupid - but at least I figured out how to actually DO it so that’s why my brain can’t wrap itself around what you said. As if anyone cares.

I’ve been the ID-ee. While reading a thread a couple of years ago, fellow doper Philliam realized that TreacherousCretin sounded like his cousin’s husband. A glance at my profile confirmed his suspicion. Neither of us had known about the other’s StraightDopery; He recognized me by what I was saying.
We live in different states, and he waited a couple of months to unmask me at a family gathering. Made me feel like Superman and Batman (50’s comic book versions) sharing secret indentities or something.
