Have you voted yet?

Hello from Maricopa County Elections.
Election Day is 11-03-2020.
Your ballot was signature verified. Ballots will be counted starting on Oct. 20.

I dropped my ballot in the box today. Biden/Harris for the win!

I originally requested an absentee ballot so I could complete it at home and mail it back into my BOE. I did this due to concerns about in-person voting and COVID-19. Of course, with all the rat-f-ckery about mail in ballots and obvious attempts to set the stage to disqualify mail in ballots I got cold feet but had already sent in my application for absentee.

Today I took advantage of the option to turn in my blank absentee ballot at our early voting location at the BOE and receive and complete a new absentee ballot. I had to fill it out manually, fill in the dot style, but I was then able to directly feed it into a machine and get confirmation that the ballot was accepted and my vote recorded.

My wife had done the same the day before so I knew what to expect in terms of the line and wait time. Our early voting location for our county is in a strip mall and the line wrapped 3/4 of the way around the building at 8 AM (they open at 8AM). In 47 minutes I was through the line, exchanged my absentee ballot, voted, and out the door with my sticker. I absolutely applaud the BOE for their efficiency and ability to move that many people that quickly.

Where’s My Ballot / ballottrax seems to be an effective system. Good to see that some things are working smoothly.

My ballot arrived in the mail today. I filled it out and dropped it off at a nearby ballot drop box. About a 20 minute round-trip walk.

I think you mean Jack Johnson and his bitter rival John Jackson.

Just voted early in Texas Harris County. My first time voting in the US.
A short queue but when I left it was maybe 15 people long and they were processing someone every couple of minutes. I also saw at least 4 people who I guess were registering at the same time.
Pretty long ballot about 55 names to dial and click through although 35 were judges.
I was reasonably familiar with the major candidates for the local stuff, and for all the judges I just figured the company someone keeps says a lot about them so just went by party.

took me an hour today here in NC line was much shorter when I left so probably 20 mins then.

Just dropped of our ballots at the local library drop box. 1000 a.m. Saturday morning, more than two weeks before the polls close, and there were two cars in front of me.

Any “poll watchers”? I assume no, else you’d have mentioned them, I’m sure.

I’m whining for my ballot at my mailbox every day, so I can join the others who’ve posted affirmatively in this thread. Nothing yet.

No, no one (official or otherwise) that I saw. The official drop box looked sturdy. I noticed it was well bolted down.

That’s really good to hear.

I’m sure there are cameras, too, in addition to the bolts.

Thursday was “mailing day” for ballots in the SoW. I got mine about 14:00 yesterday (Friday), and by 17:00 it was in the dropbox along with my older daughter’s. I’ll check the state elections website in a week or so to confirm it’s been received.

Voted early today in Massachusetts. There were a couple of idiots in a big truck with a banner saying “Election Fraud in Progress” just outside the 150’ mark.

Took about 20 minutes from the time I got out of the car to the time I got back in. As usual the biggest time sink was the check in process where the codgers who are the election workers couldn’t find hear or understand me, the person in front of me, or the person behind me when we told them our names and addresses.

We voted today by dropping our ballots at the county election office box. Will confirm receipt maybe Monday.

I voted early today in suburban Nashville. (Absentee ballots in Tennessee require excuses; covid fears don’t count, but being 60+ does.) 40-minute wait. Touch-screen machine that prints out a card with my choices in text. (Individual coffee stirrer/stylus provided.)

Anyone else have an early voting station closer to them than their assigned voting station?

Voted today, and dropped the mail off inside the post office.

I’m surprised they are so honest as to what they are doing.

44% of Texans have voted in the first 5 days of early voting:

As of yesterday afternoon there is one more Biden vote in the state of Maryland dropped off in a convenient Box 2.6 miles from my house. I printed the ballot from my computer, which I feel a bit bad about because apparently it has to be re-transcribed by hand, but I was worried that I might not get a mail in ballot on time.
