If anyone is interested, I have some pictures of my recent trip to Hawaii over at photopoint. Go to http://www.photopoint.com and enter in my e-mail address (which can be found by clicking on my e-mail icon at the bottom of the post). I’d post a direct link, but I’m too computer dumb!
Um, I don’t think you should need a password. There is a spot in the upper right hand corner where you can type in my e-mail addy. If they are asking you for a PW you may be putting my e-mail addy in the “sign-in” section.
Can someone with more computer savvy post a direct link?
Yes, that is bamboo. That pic was taken at Akaka Falls. The big waterfall, though, was just awesome. The picture I took of it doesn’t do it justice. I could have stared at it for hours.
Regarding the cut and paste - photopoint’s programmers are lazy and didn’t bother to “trim” trailing spaces that often accompany cut and pastes. This is really starting to be a pet peeve with me…
And I must say, those are some nice pics and a sweet tattoo.
Thanks! That was done at Big Island Tattoo. The guy there does great work! That was an original design. I showed him a pic of something similar to what I wanted and explained how I wanted it different, and he drew it up in just a few minutes, and it was perfect!
I have just returned from looking at your Hawaii pics and I must say, all three of the Akaka falls pix (especially the one you captioned as your favorite) are worthy of National Geographic, and the hammock picture could grace the cover of Condé Nast Traveler.
You should also know that as a former pro photographer, I DON’T throw that kind of praise around lightly. NICE work, Michi… maybe you should consider switching from pet healer to photographer. I’m sure the pets of the world won’t thank me for suggesting it, but hey…
I see I neglected to mention that you yourself are looking fine in the pix that feature you. Grrrrrrowwwwlll.
Aww…Cheffie, I’m blushing! Actually, I love taking photos, and a few months ago I posted a question on how to get started as an amateur photographer. Problem is, with this expense here, and that expense there, shopping for a house…I can’t really afford to spend ANY money on things like cameras, even cheaper used stuff.
The camera I have now is a FUJI 1000zoom, and I can still have a lot of fun with it.
