He Hate Me Fantasy Football 2024 - Year 22

Meanwhile I’ve got Josh Allen and Baker Mayfield and I can only start one. Good problem to have

Is there any way of pushing this trade through so that I can have an RB2 this week? Any objections?

::checks to see if I am playing @Munch this week::

Sure thing, it’s been pushed through.

We should see if Frosty has an objection - he may have accepted the trade as part of getting dome Thursday night value out of Hall first.

Hmmm, I didn’t think of that… tagging @Frosted_Glass here so he can weigh in. I can reverse it tomorrow easily enough.

I’m good with the trade going through now. Thanks!

Having Burrow (on my opponent’s team) throw 5 TDs and zero to Chase miffs me a bit.

Well he threw two of them to your opponent’s backup TE, so there’s that.

Despite the win this week my season is pretty much over. So I’m putting my entire team (Big Mack Attack) on the trade block. I’m specifically looking for keeper value. If you’re in win now mode, take a look and make me an offer.

Dang - I needed the win this week, and I swapped out Minnesota’s defense for the Giants, and Jacksonville didn’t announce Lawrence would be out until the Giants game started. Ugh. I hate it when that happens.

I have no way to confirm this, but I think this year Detroit must have the highest ratio between team points scored and fantasy points for their starting QB of all time. Every other week they put up 40 points with Jeff Goff somehow going 16/22 for 203 yards 1 TD.

Okay so I may have complained a bit prematurely as Goff hits 40 points. Earlier in the game he had like 13 when Detroit had 30. What a boom or bust fantasy QB on a real life consistent offense.

Good news everyone.

I am 1) the first person to clinch a playoff spot
2) In sole possession of first place at 9 wins
and 3) the points scored leader by almost 40 points.

I have been so fucking snakebit in this league this year. I’m #2 in Points For but sitting at a lowly 5-6 record and currently out of the playoffs. So damn frustrating.

Also note that Hermits has gotten hammered with Points Against. He’s the lowest scoring team by a fair margin and also facing the highest scores by a wide margin. That’s definitely the recipe for 0-11 but it feels like piling on.

I needed 30 points from Saquon Barkley to keep my winning streak going and… He’s only 30 yards away with the entire fourth quarter left to play. He’s basically been my whole team this year (especially since Aiyuk and Godwin went on IR).

ETA: and Omni started a bunch of guys on byes and is probably not going to be second in scoring after this week.

… and boom hours the dynamite!

I have been Saquoned.

Well, Frosty needed all of 62 yards from Dobbins last night to secure a win over my pathetic 65.70 total. Dobbins racked up 59 yards in the first half before leaving for an injury. He would not return to the game.

My 5th place in the standings is bolstered by the 13th highest scoring team in the league!

That stung almost as much as the tie in my other league, but I knew it was over once Dobbins went down. Was really hoping to sneak back into a .500 record this year but oh well. Maybe I can still make consolation

I locked up the #1 seed and a playoff bye which is probably the first time. I suspect I’ll score 150 during the week I have off and then 75 the following week just to be obnoxious, but it’s nice to lock up a bye. Nine Inch Neils and Disgruntled Goats will be competing for the other bye. There’s a huge gap between the three of us, and all of the 7-6 and 6-7 teams competing for the rest of the spots.

Omni is going to miss the playoffs entirely despite being the #2 scorer (currently). Pretty unlucky.
