Not really necessary. furt is the only player to finish in the top 3 twice in a row since 2005 (in fact, he’s done it twice).

We’ve been running voice chat alongside our drafts which has been pretty cool - a lot more chatter during the draft, about 79% of which is Hamlet being an asshole. But still!

You don’t need a microphone to participate if you don’t have one - you can just listen and type in the draft chat.
Oh, and newbie question - multiyear keepers keep moving up 2 rounds every time you keep them, right? If I draft a guy in the 12th this year, and he’s kept in the 10th next year, he’d be kept in the 8th after that?
And if I draft someone in the 5th round, I’d only be able to keep him one year since he’d be rendered ineligible after that?
Might do the Ventrilo thing. I think I uninstalled it after last year’s Super League draft though.
Yes, every keeper will cost you the pick 2 rounds better than where you took him the year before. Note that keeper eligibility travels with players when they’re traded - if you trade for a guy who was kept this year, you’ll only be able to keep him once (or not at all if he was kept last year too).
We changed the rules during the offseason so you can now keep players you drafted in the third round in the first. You won’t be able to keep anyone you draft (or keep) in the first or second rounds, of course.

EETA: Can somebody who’s run a Yahoo league before be assistant commish and make sure I set everything up right? It keeps telling me to finalize keepers and things I’ve already done.
Did you finalize teams under the commissioner tools page? Otherwise the keepers look like they’re set correctly, but I’ve not actually commished a keeper league so I’m not sure.
Yes. If I go to the “finalize” link it tells me that clicking on the button now will “lock” rather than “unlock” them.
You want it to be locked and finalized, so having your option being “unlock” is correct - locked being the current state, it gives you the option to toggle it to unlocked. So if the option is unlock, leave it, it’s correct - but if it’s locked, click it.
Yeah, I was just worried about the keeper/draft trade inputs, really. It keeps prompting me to go enter them but when I do it shows me the correct order and keeper selections. I assume it’s just being redundant.
It appears to be correct to me but I’ve never entered keepers. Is there a warning on the main page about needing to make a change to a setting, or just when you go into the keeper management page?
I’m just now sitting down and prepping specifically for this draft. One issue I think I spot is that Miles Austin is listed as a keeper, but I checked and he was drafted in the 11th round in 2009 and kept in 2010 in the 9th and in 2011 for a 7th rounder which, I think, makes him ineligible to be kept this year.
