A lot of craziness this week heading into playoffs. Hermits is essentially a lock because of points, but could end up anywhere from 2nd to 6th place. Meanwhile, the next 3 7-5 teams are lower in points than the next 4 6-6 teams. And because how the match-ups are, we could end up with 9 teams at 7-6.
I just tried to figure out the playoffs and it gave me a headache and I gave up. Two people have clinched, but otherwise we have 4 7-5 teams and 6 6-6 teams. All of those teams could potentially take the 4 remaining playoff slots. But… some of the 6-6 teams have a points advantage over some of the 7-5 teams and some don’t, but he plays him and they play that guy and it all gets complicated so I’ll let someone else figure out the scenarios.

This is actually the only league I’ve seen where the top two seeds made it to the championship game. The playoffs have been so topsy turvy with reliable stars putting up dud games and mediocre players having huge games that in a lot of the leagues the top seeds got crushed in the previous rounds.
The third place game is Hermits vs Spiritus Mundi.

I’ve really enjoyed this league and I’ll certainly be back next year. 14 teams is my favorite format of fantasy football. I believe this is my first SDMB league win except for the Super Bowl pick ‘em thread.
It’s been a pretty good fantasy year for me, winning this league, 5th in the dynasty league, and falling to 5th in the SDMB baseball big league after being in the hunt most of the season.

Senor Beef - one thing while I’m thinking about it - how does the draft order for next year work? I seem to remember that we changed the rules so that only the consolation bracket winner goes at the head of the draft, then followed by reverse finishing order.
Is that right? So I’d just take the order from your post 125 and reverse it, then put me at the top?
I’m sure I’ll have more questions when we get closer to next year’s draft, but thought I’d ask that one now.
Disappointing end as my team under performed almost across the board, but pretty happy with coming in 2nd in a new league for me.

I am - been on vacation the last week… I’ve renewed the league and will be sending out invites to everyone in the next day or two, as well as starting a new thread.

Hermits started Stafford against me and he’s out. S/he only has one other QB on the roster which is Rudolph who only got 1.87 fantasy points, but I’ll allow a post mortem switch if necessary.
