I didn;t quite finish these last night, so I topped them of today while watching Braylon Edwards bounce my fantasy hopes off of his cement fingers. gah.

QB The NFL has become a passing league, so you passed on a top QB and chose to give yourself a dilemma every week. Oedipus approves, but I do not.
RB Picking first can be a curse, but LT is the cure. You avoided the temptation of the the flashy newcomers. Good job. Graham has a short pedigree, but he was a solid pick at the end of round 2. He might lose a few touches and receptions to Dunn, but he’ll see the goal line carries. I’m not a fan of Mendenhall, Taylor, or Morris – but you took them all in roughly the right place, and all are a single injury away from becoming a feature back on a strong running offense. LT makes any unit strong, but you did a good job of filling in behind as well, though I think you will suffer if you play Mendenhall in your flex all year.
WR Excellent 1-2 combination. One of the strongest in the league, though both come with injury questions. I am not a Chambers fan – he’s at best a #3 option in SD, but he will see some balls this year, so it wasn’t a horrible value pick.
TE Clark is a stud. I doubt he will repeat last year’s numbers, but still a stud. McMichael is a good reach in round 16, for potential keeper value (though his ceiling is pretty well established.)
DEF/K 1 each. Check
Keeper Potential Rodgers, Rivers, Leinart, Clark, McMichael. 3 QB’s I don’t like and 2 TE. eh Rodgers & Clark have the best potential value, with Clark the only stud in the group.
Mundi Measure City of Petra. Imposing stone edifices, but it’s all surface. The rooms behind are cramped and dusty. Still, there’s not denying the power of LT. QB and flex uncertainty are all that keep him from being a juggernaut. If AP, Fast Willie, or JJ Junior go down (not all that unlikely) he will be a QB coin-flip away from the championship.

QB A tale of 2 Lazarus’. Lazarus of Brettany has been raised, and will pass on the miracles of Broadway. JaLazarus, on the other hand, will see his reward only in heaven, when he parts company forever with Al Davis. Ryan is a pick for the future, but a good one.
RB Injury risk, Ricky risk, Rookie risk, ambulance chaser, ambulance chaser, IR. Well, that’s 1 way to go. If AP has a MONSTER year you will be all right. If not, you will not. I don’t generally favor accepting high risk at pick #2, but if you decide to do so, you should have taken more secure options for RB2 and RB3.
WR Fantastic 1-2-3 punch. Calvin could be a valuable flex player for you all year. Housh and Holt are both solid 2nd tier guys. Good work . Randle Ell was a bad pick, but you probably won’t suffer much until you toss him on the waiver wire. Still, a lost opportunity.
TE Scheffler got a lot of good press, but I’m still unsold. Decent upside, but you will suffer in matchups against the true studs.
DEF/K 1 each, though you overpaid for the Bears.
Keeper Potential Slaton, possible. Johnson, only if he reaches his top potential or Roy Williams plays elsewhere next season. JaMarcus if monkeys fly out of Al Davis’ ass and become productive NFL wide receivers (and no, Ashley Lelie does not count). Ryan – very likely. He’ll have rookie struggles, but I like his long term potential a lot more than Russell’s.
Mundi Measure Stu Unger on bender. Sure, all the bets could pan out, but you took a prime draft position and turned it into a in hand of no limit. All in, baby.

13. (171) Derrick Ward
14. (194) Jabar Gaffney
15. (199) Trent Edwards
16. (222) Rian Lindell
QB Palmer is over-rated. Eli is under-rated. Together you have a QB dilemma most weeks, but a better one that Varlosz’.
RB Love Addai. Don’t love McFadden this year (loaded box, Huggy Bear, numbers skewed by weird college system, never shouldered the load in college either, etc., etc., etc.) Love Bush, but not Reggie Bush. You paid way too much for a part time back who gets most of his numbers in the passing game (would be different in a PPR league). Rhodes is pure handcuff. Still love Bush, but not Michael Bush either. What – couldn’t find a back in a 2-man time share so you had to pick the 3rd guy off the bench in a bad offense? Ward is nice, but June wants to talk to him about the Beav-er, Bushes).
WR I like Crayton – he could be a steal as your 3rd WR. What’s that? Oh. Bummer, dude. Didn’t get the memo that receiving yards count, too?
TE Shockey is a gold mine. For me, I mean. I can hate him as a player, a person, and a fantasy reach. You will regret taking him instead of a #1 WR.
DEF/K Check.
Keeper Potential Crayton is a strong likelihood. Manning, Brown, Johnson, and Edwards are possibles. Bush, Ward, Gaffney only if injuries strike the folks in front of them.
Mundi Measure Meatloaf in multiple metaphors. Nothing fancy, but filling and robust. Won’t leave you hungry an hour later and is also good in sandwiches the next day. Could be a classic, or could turn into Bat Out Of Hell 2, complete with overdrawn melodrama and a crypt scene. I’m more of a Dire straits fan, personally.

13. (172) Amani Toomer
14. (193) Zach Miller
15. (200) Matt Stover
16. (221) DeShaun Foster
QB Drew Brees is a stud. Delhomme is a strong backup at a good price. Nice work.
RB Love Westbrook. Believe Brown will win the RB competition in Miami before the season is out, though he will lose a lot of carries through the early part of the season. Deuce is done. Power backs with too many injuries rarely enjoy late career resurgence. Betts is an ambulance chaser. So is Foster, but at least Betts still has some pop. So, a great beginning, but problems after that, especially early in the season.
WR Evans is a solid #2, but a poor #1. Driver is a solid #3, but a shaky #2. Clayton is a solid emergency substitution, but you will hate life if you see him as a flex option more than twice this year. Porter is a solid . . . um, headache. The WR competition is weak enough in JAX that he might put up some numbers, Good luck figuring out which weeks those might come in. Toomer is a good band aid for when other things self destruct. Won’t win you any matchups, but might minimize the bleeding.
TE Witten == stud. Miller == wasted pick.
DEF/K 1 each.
Keeper Potential Pretty much nil. Only injuries or career years will make any of these guys worth +2 rounds next year.
Mundi Measure Charlie’s Angels. 3 hot leads, but once your eyes move past the candy you come to the sad realization that Bosley is going to get way more screen time than anyone wants to see.

13. (173) Donte’ Stallworth
14. (188) Indianapolis
15. (201) Deion Branch
16. (220) Carnell Williams
QB I love McNabb this year – was really hoping he would fall to me later in the round. Schaub is a quality backup with upside, though I think you took him a round early.
RB Barber is a beast. I’m not a big believer in Mendenhall, which means I like Paerker a lot more than most folks this year. He’s another guy I hoped would slide but you drafted a round ahead of me. I’m starting to not like you very much. You can have Kevin Smith, though. I don’t believe a rookie RB is going to become the savior of the Detroit offense. With your top 2 RB, you should have gone for best available talent here. Plaxico, Steve Smith, or Anquan Boldin would have been better additions. Leon Washington is a nice late round grab. Cadillac was a wasted pick.
WR Here’s where you paid for going RB-RB-RB. Roy Williams is a nice value. Weak as a #1, but not so far below the second tie that you will hate life. Galloway is a stretch as a #2. Streaky and uneven production – will kill you some weeks. Hackett is a guy that everyone else likes more than I do. I suspect that by the end of the year you will be on my side of that debate. Stallworth is a tease, and you will et blue balls waiting for him to put out on a week you have him in the lineup. Branch is much like Stallworth without the upside potential.
TE You paid too much for Benjamin Watson. He’s a late round reach or a waiver wire treasure, but cost way too much on round 7
DEF/K Reached early for a kicker. Shame. Shame. Shame.
Keeper Potential I actually think McNabb might be worth a #3 next year. Yeah – I drank that Kool-Aid. Schaub has keeper potential too. That’s about it.
Mundi Measure Roberto Duran. Not plashy on the outside, but that QB-RB combo can knock you out with either hand. He’ll make it to the post season before saying no Mas.
Damned Rookie – I’m going to avoid the rush and start hating you now.

12. (163) Kevin Walter
13. (174) Donald Lee
14. (191) Pierre Thomas
15. (202) Josh Scobee
16. (219) Tennessee
QB I like Warner better than Kitna. I don’t understand the love some people have for flipping the QB coin each week. You have 2 with upside, but each could tank as well.
RB Another RB-RB-RB guy. I’m a little scared of Jackson this year, but he’ll see a ton of touches. Jacobs is a beast, for as long as he stays healthy. Jones doesn’t have his burst anymore, but Favre will open things up for him a lot more than Chad ever did. JJ Junior was a bust in Dallas and will be a bigger bust in Seattle. Hightower is an ambulance chaser. Pierre Thomas is a nice pick late.
WR And another guy who paid the price for going RB-RB-RB. Jennings is a nice #2, but not a #1 with Rogers at QB. Burleson is a #3, and not even an exciting #3. Patten will be hit or miss all year. I like Kevin Walter a lot as a late round grab. He won’t play much, but will be a nice patch if the boat is leaking.
TE Donald Lee is nice value late. You’ll suffer at the position most weeks, but he’ll steal a couple for you.
DEF/K Yep.
Keeper Potential Hightower – maybe. Thomas – more likely. Walter – back to maybe.
Mundi Measure Jack Palance in City Slickers. His most important thing is 1 thing. Just 1 thing. Lucky for the rest of us, the game isn’t called fantasy running backs. When Billy Crystal can fill in for you at the climax, it’s time to realize that maybe your 1 thing wasn’t so special after all.

15. (203) Jim Sorgi
16. (218) Kerry Collins
QB The best, and we won’t talk about the Yahoos backing him up.
RB Young and Williams have good upside. James is solid if unspectacular. He will grind out planty of yards at 3.5 per carry.
WR Jonhnson is a stud. Curtis is an injured dud.
TE No comment.
DEF/K No comment.
Keeper Potential No comment.
Mundi Measure Hindenburg. One shining moment – then flame out.
