Kissing is one of the great joys of life, IMO; if he refuses to give you what you want and need and will not give you a straight answer as to why, drop him like a hot rock. A puppy would be a big improvement over what you have now.
My biggest waste of time ever in relationships (and even in life) is trying to figure out why Man X does Thing Y. So I agree. Not once have I ever figured it out and had it do any good. And usually I don’t even figure it out.
Like I said, I am not a big fan of kissing either. But I’ll still do it for the man, and if he wants to talk about why it’s not my favorite activity ever, then I’ll talk about it (even though it makes me uncomfortable).
To some people. To others it does. I don’t know exactly what is going on in this guy’s head, but I’ve known two people who did this, one a guy, one a girl. In the case of the guy’s part, the guy and his ex-girlfriend hooked up and had a brief affair (at least one of the two was in another relationship) years after they stopped dating. They had previously been in a perfectly normal, kissing relationship. The guy had sex with the woman, but refused to get into any kissing, presumably to maintain a bit of emotional and intimate distance.
The other one was a girl I dated. It eventually turned into a normal relationship, but the first few times we fooled around, she wouldn’t kiss me. It was some sort of emotional issue for her–she was leaving the country soon and didn’t seem to want to get emotionally attached. Anyhow, eventually we kissed, and then the relationship proceeded in a normal manner, but it was odd and frustrating, to say the least.
So, yeah, to some people, it does equate with emotional intimacy. To me it certainly does.

Ask someone if you have bad breath. Someone who will tell you the truth. As for your boyfriend, dump him. Cuz he is either a selfish turd or won’t tell you that you have bad breath.
