I finally got to it and have shipped the Victrola guts out for service. Hopefully it will be done in time for Christmas.
Weather’s been weird here. At least it’s not as horribly hot as it was last year. Still no sign of rain, unfortunately.
Also no sign of progress from Social Security.

Howdy Y’all! Home from a day of exotic travel. Dindin shall be leftovers from last night cause there’s enough, we shouldn’t waste food, and I already cooked it yestiddy.
Red, not to worry! Large and in charge Camilla, Pelham, Newton, and Moultrie are due up next week. 
Spidey all these towns are the capitol of their respective counties. Thus they are the large and in charge towns. All the other towns in the county (well, there are other counties in some of the counties) have to take orders. They’re all overweight cause they eat at [del]hog troughs[/del] buffets too much. OK, Camilla and Pelham are in the same county. Camilla is the capitol, but I think Pelham is larger. Kind of hard to say who’s large and in charge there, except Camilla has a Wally*World, MickeyD’s, BK, DQ and a Pizza Hut so that might give it an edge.
ETA: gotti progress and SS are opposites.

I’m still digesting Bad Chinese lunch and **FCD **didn’t want dinner, so no supper here. I’ll probably have some watermelon later. Or maybe some TUMS.

Am taking the day off irk tomorrow which means a 3 day weekend for me. I don’t have any plans except house irk and sloth.
I have a third of a five gallon water bottle of change so I am going to start rolling coins. I am guessing there is probably over $500 in that jug. I could take it to a coin star machine and give up 10% or just do it myself. Since there is no rush I will just do it myself. Free money is how I look at it.
We had Roy Rogers for lunch today.
I managed to piss off some guy in the parking lot, didn’t mean to.
There’s a little strip mall behind RR, the entire parking lot is tight and has lots of foot traffic. I always drive past RR, turn right at the corner, and go in the other side which lines me up for the drive thru. As I was turning into the parking lot a man was coming down the aisle towards me, I hesitated so he could go past me. He stopped, then backed into a parking space so I went ahead and pulled up to the drive thru. I had no idea he was backing into the parking space so he could turn around and pull into the drive thru. I didn’t mean to block him, I had no idea he wanted to go that way.
He could have waited a minute and pulled in behind me, instead he gunned it back up to RR, backed into a spot, slammed the door and stomped into RR. Oh did I get a nasty look - but why would anybody want to make a u-turn in a tight parking lot instead of going around to the next entrance? I was sitting at the window when he came back out. If looks could kill I’d be dead.
I’ve been sitting outside a lot today. Sorry Flytrap, not trying to rub it in but it is so nice out. Of course looking at all the weeds kind of makes me feel guilty but things will get done eventually.
Made it to the college today since somebody was lazy yesterday. He couldn’t wait to open his Geography book only to find out it’s not bound. It’s a stack of pages and now we have to buy a 3 ring binder to put them in. Why would you just put out a stack of pages? For $112 you’d think it would be a bound hard cover.

I’m getting rather tired of the loose-leaf format for textbooks myself. Having it spiral-bound at the office supply place is an option, too, but I don’t recommend Office Depot unless you enjoy getting interrogated about topics like your planned use of the item being bound. I plan to take my binding needs to Staples, henceforth. They don’t play inquisitor, they just provide the requested service in exchange for money.
Irk went decently. Soon-to-be-new supervisor (well, I’ve worked for her before) is all excited to get me :). It’ll be a week or so, since there’s a need to find someone to fill my slot in my present department. I even have homework courtesy of imminent supervisor. 
I can take care of the assigned reading tomorrow, during my day off, which will also feature such delights as having the car smogged.
I love Roy Rogers! We sometimes drive out on the turnpike just so we can stop at one. And Popeyes! Little Nicky was right - that stuff is awesome.

Home and all retrained to the latest NewSpeak. One more training session and I’m actually back-back. It was great to see some of the faces I enjoyed working with still there and I would never admit this anywhere else but I find I really missed the place.

I recently unfriended and blocked my mother-in-law. Between the noodle-brained politics and general woo, and some other family nonsense, I had enough. So she’s gone and I don’t miss her.
Not much is new here. The sprog goes back to school a week from Monday, so he’s gotten all of his stuff together. Airman’s been on vacation all week, and he’s ready to go back to work. So not quite blurf, but not quite dancing for joy, either.
I worked 10 hours on 3.5 hours sleep. Then I bought gin, Jack Daniels(fine Tennessee sippin’ whiskey), and some groceries. Then I napped. Goride got overstimulated, and hornked on the rug. Stoopid dog.
If it’s bad enough, Ghostbusters!:eek:
