Can the thread about Hegseth and beardos be re-opened? Chronos closed it saying that “I think we’ve covered all the factual ground that’s available in this thread, and there are already other threads in the more political forums on this”, but this thread is pretty specific to the beard topic, and there’s more in the news today about it. Maybe move it to a different category if it’s no longer just FQ territory.
Considering how limited the FQ thread is, if there is news to discuss then you are probably better off creating a new MPSIMS thread and linking back to the FQ thread if there is something there that you wish to continue discussing.
Also, depending on exactly what you want to discuss, there are several existing threads that you might want to use instead:
What I was going to add is only about Hegseth and beardos. It wouldn’t fit in any of the other threads, and it’s not worth a new thread.
Idk why Chronos even felt the need to close the other thread in the first place, since there was interesting discussion taking place after the question had been answered.

Good idea. How about re-opening it and moving either to the boards already mentioned or to the politics board?
I re-opened the thread and moved it to MPSIMS for now. If it gets too political we can move it to P&E but I think MPSIMS is a good place to start.
I can’t speak for @Chronos but in my opinion the thread was barely a factual discussion to start with and wasn’t staying anywhere near within the bounds of FQ. Since the topic was being discussed in the other threads I linked to above, closing it made a lot of sense.
But it’s re-opened now, so we’ll give it a shot in MPSIMS and see what happens.
