I prefer guys who are about my height. A little up or down doesn’t matter. (I’ve only once dated a guy who was noticably shorter than I - about 5’5" as I recall - and I found it very sexy.) A lot of it is practical - my first couple boyfriends were over six feet, and I got tired of getting up on my tip-toes and craning my neck up every time I wanted to kiss them!
I’m insanely attracted to skinny guys of any height, and prior to my current 20-year relationship, I was with guys of ***every ***height. But I have to admit, when I’m in one of my more “dominant” moods, there’s a special turn-on being with a guy who’s freakishly tall. I never got much out of dominating short guys, but to dominate a guy who’s 6’10" has an extra dimension of excitement for me.
I too have an irrational prejudice against tiny women- not ladies with dwarfism or an explainable medical condition, just really short skinny ones- but only if they’re teens through late twenties in age. Once a lady wouldn’t be cast as a college student even by the most lenient of casting directors, they’re “allowed” to be really tiny. If I have a friend who’s quite short and slim, I don’t mind their appearance at all, but seeing very short and thin women out and about is unjustifiably scary. /hijack
I’m 5’6", female, kinda bi. I like guys to be a little taller than me. I’ve had a few crushes on guys very close to my height, but only dated in the 5’10-6’2" range. Most guys over 6’4" look out of proportion, and I don’t like that. Not everyone: Jason Momoa, for instance, is 6’4" and his head and shoulders still look perfectly reasonable. But take a random guy of my university’s basketball team and I’d probably tell you he’s got a tiny head and his shoulders are too boxy.
With women, it’s much narrower range- preferably within two inches of my height. I don’t mind 5’9" or 5’3", but anything outside of that just seems like too much of a height difference.
