The poker group here at the SDMB is always happy to see new players. A new quarter is starting soon, so what better time to join us at Pokerstars? Just follow the instructions at the beginning of the thread.
I would love to play, but I had to download the pokerstars.net software, as I’m in the US. It looks like I can still access the poker clubs, but there doesn’t appear to be a way to “find a player” to IM (there’s a menu item, but it’s greyed out). So is there another way I can get the invite code?
I’m down to 79 and the entry is 109. Can’t figure out how to get more. When I click on the dealer’s tray I can see the option to get more chips but it’s not functional. Help?
Sign into a play money game in PokerStars. Click on the chip rack. You should be able to find an option to add chips.
No workee.
I contacted support. Hopefully my problem will be resolved soon.
Tonight’s results… Well, the new guy cleaned up. Sorry about that. I kept getting trips and flushes and fullboats. I almost feel guilty. ALMOST!

Resolved my short stack problem.
“The refill option is only available in play money ring games, which are located in the “Hold’em”, “Omaha”, “Stud” and “Other Games” sections of the software. It is not possible to refill play money chips in tournaments.”
So clicking the dealer tray to get more chips does not work in a tournament game.
