I disagree, Onomatopoeia. By not engaging at all you tacitly (at least in the ‘minds’ of those who are putting out those tendrils you are talking about) condone their attempts. It’s like not engaging in folks who push forth creationism, or 9/11 truther nutballs. By NOT engaging them (and heaping massive amounts of scorn on their heads), you open the way for them to continue spreading their filth. Plus, someone who is maybe on the fence and lurking sees that the person is not engaged and heaped with scorn, and that the thread is summarily closed by the Mods, and that makes an impression on those lurkers.
By allowing a thread like this to run it’s course, lurkers and others see the negative impact that some idiot saying they are a racist has on at least our community. If this validates or confirms something to the OP, well, so would silence or having a Mod summarily close the thread. Since this idiot would be validated either way, I think heaping scorn and derision on him works best…plus, it’s frankly more fun.

The chicken bone story, like all the rest of his boasting to his hater brothers, never happened. These are clearly fabricated vignettes designed to make him look cool to his cohorts on neonazis.com. He’s a bullshitter and a liar and I knew lots like him in the military, telling outrageous stories about events that never happened, such as bashing someone’s head into a candy machine (or whatever it was), “snarling” at some guy who got in his face (what bodice-ripper did he get that purple prose from?), people being raped and property being damaged, and on and on and on. Either the dude is a disaster magnet, or he’s a fucking liar. I vote for the latter.
I agree. Sunshine is the best disinfectant. There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing these douchebags try to have a rallying march, only to be met by an overwhelming opposition from the community. It reinforces the fact that these people are completely at odds with their country, their society and their culture.
I actually believe the part about the chicken bone…or, at least I think it’s a true story, though possibly not an actual experience by the OP or his possibly fictitious sister. I’ve seen similar things happen when I was much younger (I once saw a guy throw a nearly full beer can out of his truck and hit a black child who was probably no older than 12 on the side of the head with it, then laugh about it with his buddies in the truck).

I’d say the OP has heard these stories and is basically working them into his own life saga to post on his racist sites…exactly what you were saying in your post. While I’ve met people who have had a lot of shit happen to them (my father, for one), as you say, my BS detector is pegging out at the max with this guy.

It helps me to know that there are other people out there, all around the world and of almost all types, that have had similar experiences. That I’m not all by myself in noticing poor behavior. That the multiculturalists have not won by a long shot. And on top of that, I can really let myself go without any social restraints on speech, and speak my mind… really let out the frustration and anger. It’s almost theraputic.
