I ask in general questions about an introduction thread ion these boards and was pointed to this thread on with the mention of goats ,pies and suchlike :dubious: sort of like the welcome wagon I think ,
I’m Kat I am a native New Mexico ( just in case ,FIY, its the state between Tex. and Az.)
I have been ‘lurking about’ in here for a day or two just seeing what there is to see , then joined so I could see some more .

Goats are old school, I prefer giant squid. The ink leaves… a lasting impression.

I figure most folks do know the difference from Old Mexico and New Mexico , it has become a habit when I am posting for the first time ,to throw that in half in jest, half in earnest , about (just a guess) 75% of the time on a new site I get asked about it .
