Hello Kitty?

I came home this afternoon after running errands, and there, sitting on my bed like he owned the place, was a grey tabby with white socks. Neither my 6 large dogs nor my four cats seem to think there’s anything strange about this. I’d left the window open while I was gone, without the screen, so my cats could sun themselves on the porch. I wasn’t expecting this!

St

What are you going to name him? :stuck_out_tongue:

Mew!

Hello Kitty sneaks in where least expected. Sanity departs. Hello Kitty haiku thread.

I suggest Torquemada. No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!

Congratulations, you’ve been adopted! You have been found to be Worthy.

In that case, I’d be partial to “Cardinal Fang.”

So?? I the newcomer still hanging around? I predict a long and happy relationship…

I once had a cat that had rave parties in the middle of the night. If I happened to get up in the night, I had to turn on the hallway light to avoid stepping on one of 5 or 6 cats lying all along the carpet. They were always gone by morning,
That cat’s name was Downtown Spot Brown.

He was apparently someone’s pet at one time. When I opened the tuna cans to make tuna sald for dinner, he jumped right up. Then fell in the sink full of dishwater! Then I didn’t see him for a while, and thought he moved on, but later, when I put the screen he, he was in the window pushing at the screen, trying to get in. I let him in, and after a few hisses from Sabrina and Nick, everything settled down.

The kitty must’ve been dumped. I live about a 1/2 mile from my nearest neighbor, and they don’t have cats.

I once had an “English basement” apartment that had a swinging window at what was ground level outside. My streetwise cat was allowed out, and could return on his own by pushing through this window and jumping down to the bed below. I once returned to find he’d brought home a friend. I opened the door and got a split-second glimpse of two cats frolicking and chasing each other about. Then they both froze and turned to me with perfect “oh, busted!” looks. :stuck_out_tongue: Stranger cat did the low zigzag dash for the door and was never seen again. By me.
