Just watched the ep off the DVR. What is it with insufferably bitchy female contestants taking out Asian dudes on the cooking reality shows this season? We have Lisa vs. Dale on Top Chef, and Jennifer vs. Louross on HK!

Matt is clearly being left on the show for a dramatic meltdown. He’s so overwhelmed Ramsay is really clutching at ways to keep him on the show. Clearly, he will not have a redemptive arc and end up in the final two, let alone Top Hell Chef.

Jennifer is the stroppiest cow yet, but I have no idea why so many people are intimidated by her. Louross let her bully him and didn’t say shit until Petrozza basically forced a confrontation.

It’ll be interesting to see how the other two women’s plan to force her out goes. Methinks it will backfire in their faces, but again, no way is Ramsay handing the keys to the kitchen to Jennifer with her stank ass attitude. She’s just there to manufacture drama by the metric ton.

And thanks for preserving the mystery, Fox promo jackasses… now why exactly should I watch next week’s show, now you’ve basically told me who’s getting the boot next week?

Well, note that Petrozza did not choose her over Louross despite disliking her much more as a person. She’s obviously superior in the kitchen. That still doesn’t mean that she’s better than the others, but I guess she has some qualities as a team member.

Creating recipies might not be one of them.

Maybe not- it could have been a strategic move to boot the stronger contestant to make himself stand out. While he could have nominated Bobby for the same reasons, he probably knew that GR wouldn’t kick Bobby off, and then he’s just weakened an ally.
