I am bored and hungry at work too (I owe my post count to being bored at work). I haven’t got a stock of alchohol (and everywhere will be closed when I leave work). So I guess I will be forced to read the Wee Free Men.
I did not realize until well after the ‘meeting’ of the little people that the word ‘wee’ is the scotish ‘wee’ (i.e. ‘little’)
It is. I think I’m rapidly heading towards addiction also.
Maureen, I’ll have to stay until I’ve managed to fit two more sets of data. I have to give a progress report tomorrow, and my supervisor is pressing to have everything in a publishable state by tomorrow. I got in about 9:30am.
Lately all forms of ‘cola’ bought in cans or plastic bottles are virtually undrinkable. Makes me wonder how they are so popular. Draft coke is a different story though.
AAAAHHH!! 13 Hours??? For 3 data sets?
Angua love, you need to move out here to Silicon Valley with me and Zenster, where the data systems are actually user friendly. Of course, the freeways aren’t, but you should be used to that
Nope, 13 hours for 10 data sets. Oh, and a seminar in the middle, so more like 11 hours. But still.
And as for the freeways - I doubt if ours could get any worse!
Hmm… I work with objects known as Wide Angle Tailed radio galaxies, shortened to WATs. Its rather telling that whenever I type the letters “wa”, the next letter is always “t”, no matter what the context.

Just down the road there,
First house on the right,
Can’t miss it,
Its the one covered in ivy.
I take it you changed your mind about bringing the caftiere to work.
I bet Ford Aerospace would love to have you. They’re right up the street, practically. Or NASA, which is also conveniently located here. Or any of our 6 (that’s right,6 ) observatories we have here…
