Help me find some new webcomics!

8-Bit Theater: RPG/tabletop humor served up nice and dry. I think the characters are strong and well-written enough that you don’t have to be intimate with geekdom to laugh. Check out the “advice” column by Evil Princess Sara (“Call your mother if you want the milk of human kindness, because all you’re getting from me is the black bile of scorn and derision.”)

Like relationship comics? How about the furry Suburban Jungle? It’s written with a lot of warmth and has lots of fun characters like Dover, the poor cheetah guy in IT who can only talk in code, and Drezzer, a gay wolf photographer with boatloads of personality and compassion.

Sinfest.

When I saw the Blaxploitation Funk Bible strip, I knew I’d like this one…

Now that we’ve given you the links, please be kind enough to post to this thread, & say what you think about them!

Similar to 8-bit theatre is Bob and George is a gaming themed comic using megaman sprites to parody the actual megaman games. It’s been running for 3 years long, and started a long line of crappy sprite comics that usually have a punchline relating to how crappy the comic is, or something like that(“Wow! My characther has no personality! lol I suck at comics!”). So, most sprite based comics are not good at all, when compared to B and G.

Plus, (when the owner of B and G gets it back up again) their is 4 or 5 quality “subcomics” that are related somewhat to the normal B and G universe, and they are also of good quality. They were choosen out of fancomics for them being extrodinariliy good when compared to the bad quality of most of the fancomics.

Ha! You expect me to be able to go through the entire archive of approximately every quality webcomic ever posted on the internet, at least enough to form an opinion about them in one day?

Okay, so I skipped class all effing day yesterday to read webcomics. Thanks, people.

So far, I’ve only been able to really get deep into the archives of a couple of them. I’m digging Something Positivie, and Real Life Comics. I’ve bookmarked about ten others. There are a few I rejected out of hand because I hated the style of art–Help Desk, for example, I really want to like, I think it’s funny, but I just can’t get past how much I dislike the cartooning. Also, a few I’ve seen before that I just can’t stick with: Sinfest, Sluggy, and Diesel Sweeties. All of which I really wish I liked, heh. Especially Sinfest. Maybe I’ll give 'em another shot, after I’m done going through all these.

I briefly considered skipping class entirely today, too. Effing college education, getting in the way of comic strips. grumble

I’m still working on it! [Mike Myers as Linda Richman]Talk amongst y’selves[/MM as LR]

I second SpazCat’s suggestion. Something Positive rules.

Bill Holbrook’s Kevin & Kell is one of my bookmarks. Go there and you’ll find links to more webcomics.

Namir Dieter–Super Girly Goodness!

Dave Kelly’s Lizard

A Doemain Of Our Own

Sparkling Generation Valkyrie Yuuki

Master Zen Dao Meow

@1st Century Fox–(the early one have Gilbert & Sulivan sing-a-long jokes)

Bearly Human

When I am King

Single best webcomic I’ve seen - but not a traditional daily-strip approach. And it’s all done with a mouse.

Sadly ended, but still worth reading is The Japanese Beetle.

Another defunct one is The Parking Lot is Full. Mostly unconnected strips, and there are a number which are poor, but a whole bunch that are great, if kinda dark.

Red Meat …i love this one…esp Bug-Eyed Earl and Milkman Dan…

Oh, that reminds me, the local weekly that has Red Meat also carries The City.

Another one you might try is User Friendly.

When I need my mind ‘adjusting’ I turn to Achewood

A particularly good example would be
