I know the guy who is the top guy on the Olympic shot put team, Reese Hoffa. I want to make sure I TiVo any coverage of him, but I’m baffled by the scheduling stuff, and it keeps seeming like what is supposed to be on isn’t what is actually on, etc. I have Time Warner Cable, if that helps…

I don’t know off the top of my head what that start time translates to in US time zones, but it is going to happen sometime overnight or in the morning. The qualification rounds are already over.

OK - It’s going to be on at 7AM Mountain time. My best guess is its going to be on MSNBC.

I caught a bit of the coverage late this morning. One of Reese’s tosses was shown, along with a clip of his appearance on The Tonight Show. Hoffa mentioned that he had shown up about a half-hour late because he had stopped at an In-N-Out Burger, and Jay Leno quipped (wording approximate): “Finally! An Olympic training regimen I can get behind!”
MSNBC has announced that the shotput finals will be shown tonight at 8 PM EST on NBC.
