I have no idea how to even search for this thing in Google - it’s a flash animation about a hat, with words in Swedish set to Arabic music (or vice versa). Does anyone have a link? I think it was called “diese hatte” or something like that.

There is a whole slew of them, this one is generally referred to as “Hatten är Din”. For the record, the words of the song are in Arabic, it is just the subtitles that are in Swedish. If you read the subtitles while listening to the song, they match up phonetically.
It was a huge trend after Hatten-är-din came out, but few of the copies were a spot-on as the original 
Later versions had flashier presentations but much worse “synching” and what did synch was usually gibberish, as opposed to the rather meaningful, “Everyone knows why, and everything becomes perfect, the hat is yours hat-baby!”
