I’m not sure if what I was briefly watching was a show or movie. I think it was supposed to be a comedy. The characters had British accents. The scene I saw showed these three guys talking to another man about making greeting cards that play a song when opened, for which they would be paid one cent per card. One of the three men appeared to be of Indian descent and had huge sideburns. The man they were talking to was named Armstrong. There was also a scene where two of the guys were having their photos taken on the street. A man with the photographer kept emphasizing how no one except the photographer was allowed to touch the camera. What was I watching?
Sounds rather like the “Bowie” episode of the HBO series Flight of the Conchords. The main characters on that are from New Zealand though, not the UK.
ETA: Wikipedia tells me the greeting card executive in this episode (played by John Hodgman) was named Armstrong, so I’m pretty sure this is what you saw.
Yes, that was it. Thank you :). This American can’t tell the difference between UK and New Zealand accents :smack:
