Help me identify an anthology cartoon series from the 90s

Yup…one of these.

I have a super vague memory of an anthology series that I saw an episode of in the 90s, and I want to know if I’m crazy or not.

I can’t remember exactly when I saw it, but it was definitely before high school, so it was 90s. If I had to make a guess I’d say mid-to-late 90s. My best guess on a channel would be MTV. The only thing I remember about it is one of the scenes was a claymation man repeatedly poking an elevator button and saying “c’mon c’mon c’mon”. He did this 3 or 4 times, then the scene ended.

Despite the description, I can tell you the show was NOT Celebrity Death Match (MTV claymtion show) and it was NOT on Robot Chicken…but it was as if you married the two together.

This ring any bells for anyone?

MTV’s Liquid Television.

I bet that’s it. I forgot how great Liquid Television was, it introduced Beavis and Butthead and Aeon Flux.

It’s from Cartoon Sushi, which is what LT eventually morphed into. Late '90s. This is where Celebrity Deathmatch first appeared, IIRC.

That has to be it! The Wiki has one of the shorts titled “c’mon c’mon” although I can’t find it on youtube anywhere…which is surprising.

Sadly, I can find every single episode of Cartoon Sushi online except for the pilot episodes.

And I checked and no, it wasn’t ever featured in a Spike & Mike or The Animation Show.

I’ll find it, tho.

Viacom take down anything on youtube that they have legal claim too.
