One of my rats was named Lola. It actually means “Full of sorrows”.
I’ve had my two for seven years, and their names are still “Little F*cker” and “Dammit, Stop That!”:D.
I hate it when cute kitten pictures are posted here on Photobucket during the workday when that site’s BLOCKED! Therefore, I cannot assist in the name discussion until I see that immense cuteness.
I get to go home in an hour. I can make it until then.
How about “SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECUTE,” because that’s what I said when I first saw her.
MPSIMS: My ex-wife named her cats Meatloaf and Spatula. I think those are two of the greatest cat names ever. (If it had been up to me, they would have been Dolby and Rewind.) My mother’s cat is named Groucho, because he actually looks like Groucho.
I like Mia and Camille.
Though, if she was mine, she’d probably get named Celes.
That is one adorable kitten. I’m thinking it’s name should be…Killer. Or maybe Fang. Just for the amusement of it.
awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
FuzzyWuzzy
or
PowderPuff
or
Snookums
or
enough - I don’t want you to gag
Tippy/Tipsy seems appropriate - but wait a week or so and let her reveal her name to you
I can see where her pattern is going to come in. she looks like a “Spot” to me.
All seriousness aside, I’d say Lilith. I had a shaded silver Himalayan by that name.
First off, I’m sorry but you’ll have to pull over unless you have a license to post something that adorable online.
It’s the law, maam. . .
And second,
Miabella means “my beautiful” - which will be PERFECT once she grows up (which she will - no, I’m sorry, it happens. . . ) Our wonderful stupendously gorgeous lovely break-daddy’s-heart beautiful kitty looked almost identical to your new one at that age, and she’s truly a magnificently lovely creature now. . .
(go with miabella - go with miabella - go with miabella - go with miabella - go with miabella)
What a cute cat!
As for a name, how about Tiddles?
I wanna change my vote to Fluffernutter
:smack: I should have remembered that from Lolita. (Or somewhere.)
A “fluffer” is commonly known to be someone who is on set during porn shoots to keep the male actors. . . erm. . . in shape for the action.
Fluffernutter sounds just bad to me. NutterFluffer would be worse, but . . .
Definitions from Urban Dictionary
Fluffer
The first two are OK, but third hand takes all:
Fluffer Nutter
(go with miabella - go with miabella - go with miabella - go with miabella - go with miabella)
“Cecil”?
I had to laugh out loud - given your username, I think this suggestion is quite apt.
As well as very pretty! I say Miabella!
I showed my husband the picture, and he got a big case of the “awwwwwws”… and when I asked what he would suggest as a name, he pops out with, instantly: “Hyperbole!”
Please don’t name your kitten Hyperbole. :dubious:
Biffy had actually suggested *fuffer * (without the “L”) - but leave it to a doper to find the blue side of things
btw - your name reminds me of the working title of the Broadway collaberation between Stephen King and Stephen Sondheim…
'doh! I guess my slip is showing. . . hey, it’s been a long week, it’s Friday, I guess I’ve got. . . stuff. . . on my mind. . .
Wow. I’d pay money to see that. . . Sunday in the Park with IT
Audrey. Just look at those eyes. Definitely Audrey.
Ooooooohhhhhh…SQUEEEEEEEE!!!
Okay, sorry, I had to get that out of my system.
ElzaHub just suggested JonBenet, as the posing makes her the JonBenet of cats:D.
I like Mirabella - Mira for short:).
E.
That is a beautiful kitten. All of the SCLcats are jealous, even though they are beautiful, too.
I usually go for odder names (I love FlufferNutter) I think Miabella is appropriate. At least for a starting point when she comes home and can tell you what her name is.
I should have named Cricket “Getdownfromthere” and my siamese Valentino thinks his name is “No”.
