They are called Ragdolls because they go limp when you pick them up. The breed is well known for liking to be cuddled, and for being very social. They also get pretty big…males up to 24 pounds or so.
And yes, MLS , she will develop “points” like a siamese (she’s a seal point). Her ears, tail, and paws will darken, but she’s going to have little white mitts.
I don’t want to wait until next week…want kitty now!!!
Ahh, Ragdolls!
We have a 12-year old one and he isn’t slowing down yet. He still plays with toys, and loves to pounce at toes under the covers.
They are very sweet tempered and demanding of attention. Ours wakes us up sometimes just wanting attention.
They don’t stay the color in the photo. She’ll darken and get “points”, like a Siamese, except that Ragdolls have usually have white pawtips (“gloves”) and nosetips.
About seven years ago we took in a stray kitten though we already had three cats including the above mentioned Rocco, who was the oldest. The two younger cats, at first, were rather unfriendly to the new arrival, but Rocco took him under his paw, so to speak, “taking” him to the food bowl so he wouldn’t have to go alone. The kitten imprinted with Rocco as his “mother” and would often such his forepaw as if it were a nipple.
I vote for Cujo.

I had a seal-point Siamese who looked a lot like your kitty. We called her Frankie after Frank “Old Blue Eyes” Sinatra.

My cat’s name is Emma, but she’s more often called any of the following:
Meat Breath, Mini-Meat, Space Invader, Weirdo, Mooch, and Miss.
So far, BF is liking Miabella. I was originally thinking of Belle or Bella for her, and he liked Mia, so it might be a nice compromise (and it’s pretty!).
