I loved this show as a kid, and I’m slowly splurging with a boxset I got for Christmas.
I vaguely recall a scene in which Max and another guy are sharing quarters for the night. As they tuck themselves in, Max makes a couple of his usual idiotic, junenile statements:
When he gets into bed, he places a support under his feet, declaring something like, “When you elevate your feet, the blood runs to your head and makes ya smarter!”
When the other guy is appalled to learn that they’ll be sleeping with the lights on, Max stands firm: “Are you kidding? The Gogglymobbles would get me!”
I may be getting some details wrong, or conflating multiple scenes, but I’m almost certain it was from “Get Smart”. Max was distinctive.
I figure I’ll run across it eventually. But they did a lot of episodes over the show’s five year run, so any help ID’ing it is appreciated.
