Help me use unwanted food items

A little while ago, I was at the grocery store and thought I bought a jar of jalapenos. Well, theyre not. Silly me: they were long, green peppers, the jar was the same color and I was in a hurry, so I didn’t notice that the jar says “Peperoni” until I came home and opened it to put some on my spicy hot chicken sandwiches.

I have absolutely no idea what to do with them. I don’t really like the taste, but I really don’t want to throw them away. Any ideas for recipes I could use them in?

If Peperoni is related to peperoncini, I loooove them on pizza.

They can be baked in the oven with meats. If you marinate chicken or chops, add the peppers to it, then roast every together in the oven. My family used to make a Christmas dish of baked salted codfish, thick-sliced potatoes, these peppers and a very vinegar-y marinade with lots of bay leaves and black pepper. Dee-lish.
