I like either Philly or Pittsburgh. Think you can’t go wrong with either one.
I would go with Philly. Not only because they will win, but I think that is your opponents most likely move. With Romo out and with that story leading the news it will be top of mind. Then all you have to do is hint that you actually took Pittsburgh and hope he duplicates your pick.
That is my feeling.
Also, all the stuff I’ve read about Romo being out for the season is from some guy named Source. And if you follow the news, Source says a lot of things, and is frequently wrong.
I have a feeling Rob is going to pick Chicago. He has to be as sure as possible that we don’t pick the same team, even if it means taking a riskier pick. And I like Chicago’s odds against a badly injured Green Bay at home.
OK, Romo is definitely out. Dallas is starting the bass player for a 90s Christian rock band. I am going with Philly. Pray for me.
If anyone cares, I won. Rob did pick Chicago, so the Philly game was moot. Still I did enjoy going out with one strike, while everyone else had three. Should have listened to my gut and picked Pittsburgh, but it all turned out OK.
