Help my neice with her Flat Stanley Project !

Count me in.

I’m in.

I hope labtrash doesn’t mind us claiming authorship of the photos in the album - the eight ‘Woodbridge’ ones are mine, in reverse order due to Photobucket being a bit odd at times!

I just sent our pics via email.

Not at all!

I figured that from now on I have to upload them in reverse order (first in gets pushed “to the left”, etc.). Sorry about that. Maybe I’ll remove & replace them if I get the time this weekend.

WhyNot, your pics are up (and look great), as well as Stanleys visit to Graceland, via a work contact.

I rearranged GorillaMan, Irreverent Tone(with some additions - Stanley Swims!), and some of Anaglyph’s pics in the proper order. Turns out it was easier than I thought - moved them into my main album, then put them back the right way this time). I thought I’d have to remove & replace, which would have meant adding the captions again. Great relief.

Also added pics from Chile, where Stanley is currently traversing the Austral Road from the south, heading north to Santiago.

Sorry about posting after myself, but I figure you’d want the updates!

I’m home until Tuesday, so if you send anything to my email, post here, as I have to log in from home to get the emails.

Very very sorry about the delay. Many brave Stanleys have been casualties of the London weather (sleet and -2 degrees windchill). On the other hand, its likely at least one has seen most of London, just not with photographs.

As a complete coward, I’m waiting for the weather to improve before I make a new attempt.

I’m in, too, lab. I sent you a message a few hours ago and am awaiting Stanley. I’ll have to fight the other East Anglians for a good picture.

Feeling competitive?

Stanley has now also visited Calumet Farm, a famous thoroughbred horse operation in Lexington Kentucky. Labtrash, the email was just sent.

Kilvert’s Pagan & Tirial’s pics are up

Beat this: Easter Sunday, Isleham, snow! Just wait until old Stan and I can leave the village! I’ll be submitting them soon.

I’m looking at snow, too…I just need to get dressed…

Oh you softy! Snowy London photos done and sent (thanks to a super-reinforced Stanley). I’m hiding inside now, defrosting. Its not very seasonal is it?

Tirial, your Crystal Palace pics are up, as well as some Scottsdale, AZ pics (Llamas!)

Seconding tirial, get up already, Gorillaman! Pictures taken and sent. I may head into Newmarket or Cambridge for more. The apartment can be messy for another day!

Tirial, how did you reinforce Stan? I printed mine on photo paper. He stood up to the weater pretty good.

The Blue Peter way  Colour printout on photopaper, several layers of card taped to the back, laminate (sticky back plastic), and we added a pencil spine and biro leg bones.

We still have a blurred shot of him blowing away in front of Crystal Palace station (fortunately he was recovered). Did you have that problem?

I dropped you an email-- I think Stanley wants to visit northern Japan next.

Tirial, I only used Tesco’s photo paper and gray duct tape. His little arms and legs flailed in the wind, but he stuck to the light poles. Then again, forgetting that I’m not doing a sightseeing photo safari, I gave him a backstory, too. My Stan had a hot cross bun and pancakes for breakfast before he saw the snow outside then opened a chocolate egg after he got back from visiting the village. It’s Easter, after all! I don’t know which of these shots’ll make it to the official page.

I wonder if the Chili’s in Cambridge is exotic enough for the project? [chuckle]

BellRung, I hope Stanley sees the Hachinohe bullet train station. I always liked that. Maybe a grocery trolley at the Ito-Yokado?

I too went old-school, i.e. primary school: Pritt Stick him to a sheet of card, then cut him out, Blu Tack to hold him in place for the photos.

The snow photos didn’t turn out well, they just look blurred, but I’ve got ideas for others next week.
