This is not your normal “Can anyone help me remember the title of this song/lyrics to this song” thread–I cannot remember the title, lyrics or artist…but I have snippets of the music run through my head from time to time in order to drive me insane. It was a male/female duet, female may have been Dolly Parton (which would make Kenny Rogers the favorite for the male part) and the lyrics were a description of how much like enjoyed calling each other a certain term of endearment…Feh, this is so incredibly vague that I can’t believe I’m posting it, but I have to hope someone might know what I’m talking about and I can lay this to reast.
Was the music genre country/western?
About how old is this song?
:: sing song voice ::

:: /sing song voice ::
When I was growing up I recall my parents used to listen to a Bonnie Rait duet with some guy that I think might fit that description. I can’t for the life of me remember the name of the song nor the person she sang it with nor any of the lyrics though…
" Love is Strange" by Mickey and Sylvia…“and how do you call your lover boy?”…
