lno and I are getting a new puppy - he will be working in my research program as well as likely training for SAR.
We’re looking for a pirate call-name for him.
So far, nothing really comes up to mind, but here’s a list of some suggested names. PLEASE give us ideas!

He looks like a Jack. I like Jack. It’s a nice solid respectable-pirate name.
Do *not * name him Chaos. Or Mutiny. It’s just inviting the gods to laugh at you and make him live up to his name. I had two ferrets once named Loki and Kali. WTF was I thinking?
Lucky Jack Aubrey, or maybe just Lucky Jack for short.
I like Grog or Rum personally, but what about Davey Jones?
