Apparently, I accidently disable something somehow, because whenever I start iTunes, a message comes up that says:
The iTunes preferences have CD burning turned on, and I’ve burned using iTunes before… I think I just somehow turned something off. I looked in the Service Manager, but the only thing that looked like it may belong to iTunes is the iPod Service, which is Started and is set to manual. IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service isn’t running, is set to manual, and when I turn that on, it doesn’t affect iTunes.
Any ideas? I love iTunes for everything EXCEPT CD burning. It always burns incredibly slow (it’s set to burn at the max I can burn to), and usually takes 4-5 times longer to burn a CD than my preferred recording software. I only use iTunes to burn protected m4p files I buy from the iTunes store, since nothing else can.
Anyone know how I can restart this elusive service? Thanks!!
