Last week: Niki snapped a man’s expanding stick (and not for the first time); Hiro picked up a little something from the museum gift shop; Peter revived from a coma and no one could tell the difference; Claire reacquainted herself with Zack and his NBC-enforced heterosexuality; Nathan somehow managed to take more time off in the last two weeks of his congressional campaign; Mihimbo met again with AED; and Isaac showed off arms so scrawny it’s amazing that he can hoist a brush. Oh, and the introduction of Doctor Where.
*AED: Ambiguously Evil Dad, formerly known as Evil Dad, also Claire Bennets’ father, Mr. Bennet, Horn-rimmed Glasses, the guy who hangs out with Haitian dude and the character played by Jack Coleman.
I’m looking forward to it, especially the “Guest Star”. I’m late to join this party, as I’ve only seen the last 3 or 4 episodes, but I’m enjoying it quite a bit.
Way out guess: daddy = flying man. He’s shown to be unfaithful to his wife, about the same age as hot momma. Plus the only child of a pair of heroes ended up being one, so I figure that makes it more likely that papa is one himself.
Nice ramping up episode. Left me wondering what was going to happen next for pretty much everyone.
My money is on Nathan being Claire’s father. The outfit certainly looks like his and he’s old enough. Even if it’s not him I’m fairly certain it will be one of the reoccurring cast members.
I saw the Sylar thing coming but I wasn’t expecting him to still be in the room. Next week is going to be a bad week for the Bennet family I think.
If Nathan isn’t the daddy then I’d make Mr Bennett my next guess for being her real dad. Which means he’d have to survive his run in with Sylar if he’s going to take that phone call. I hope this isn’t the end of Mr. Bennett, we have so much more to learn about him.
I’m very intrigued with Invisible Guy. How does he know so much about so much? What a great addition to the cast.
** BabaBooey**, I don’t know if there’s enough to go on with Nathan being Claire’s dad, but if it turns out you’re right, I vote you speculator of the month. It would be very cool. But as far as we know Nathan’s only been cheating on his wife since the accident. Plus he’s not all that old, and I get the feeling Claire’s parents knew about their powers since before she was born, whereas Nathan only recently came into his powers, didn’t he?
I wonder if Claire’s daddy might not be Linderman.
My first thought was that daddy was Nathan. I would really like the twist that AED actually IS her father, but I don’t think so. I’m thinking either Nathan or Linderman.
